The more I read about writing, the more I am convinced that investing in the observation of our lives and the role God plays as the Author of our stories is one of the most valuable endeavors we can pursue. I may never be a famous writer in the eyes of the world. That’s not my goal. I want what Smith calls those “breathtaking results.” I want my own reflections of the stories I am living, the ones God is writing to result in excellence.
